Olentzero est un homme corpulent, mal v\u00eatu, tach\u00e9 de charbon. Dans certaines chansons, nous l\u2019appelons le \u00ab\u00a0gros malin\u00a0\u00bb. Il vit \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cart de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 fabriquer du charbon de bois dans la for\u00eat, et aime bien manger et bien boire. Autrefois, il descendait chaque hiver des montagnes vers les villages pour apporter du charbon aux foyers. Aujourd\u2019hui, il distribue des cadeaux aux enfants de tous les foyers des 7 provinces basques\u00a0: Navarre, Basse-Navarre, Labourd, Soule, Biscaye, Gipuzkoa et Araba,<\/p>\n
